Decodo is the 2024-2025 rebrand of Smartproxy, the Lithuania-based proxy provider founded in 2018 and operated by UAB Data Troops. Same team, same infrastructure, new name. It operates 125 million-plus IPs across 195 countries: rotating residential (115M+), mobile, datacenter, and static ISP proxies, with country, state, city, ZIP, and ASN targeting. Residential entry pricing starts around $3.75/GB on the smallest monthly plan, dropping toward $2/GB at the highest volumes, with pay-as-you-go wallet credits also available.
Beyond raw proxies, Decodo ships four scraping products under one roof: a Web Scraping API, an eCommerce Scraping API, a SERP Scraping API, and a Social Media Scraping API, plus a Site Unblocker for managed anti-bot bypass and an MCP server for AI workflows. The scraping API has a free tier of 2,000 requests and paid plans starting at $19 per month. Third-party benchmarks report around 94% average success rates, and the provider won Proxyway's Best All-Rounder 2026. Note that most third-party tutorials and Stack Overflow answers still use the Smartproxy name, so search both when looking for guides. Only decodo.com is the official domain; the company warns about impersonator sites using the old brand.
