Course Hero
Study document library with 24/7 tutor help and AI study tools
About
Course Hero combines a large library of course-specific study documents — class notes, study guides, past quizzes, and syllabi, reportedly over 60 million items — with on-demand homework help from expert tutors, typically answering within 30 minutes. Students can upload their own documents and chat with an AI study assistant about them, generate practice quizzes from their materials, and use textbook solutions, flashcards, and a math solver. A distinctive upload-to-unlock system lets users earn free access by contributing documents instead of paying. The Premier plan runs about $9.95/month billed annually up to $39.99/month billed monthly, with 30 document unlocks per month that do not roll over; a higher tier bundles Symbolab and QuillBot Premium. Academic-integrity concerns are the obvious caveat: the document library is a reference tool, and copying is against most schools' policies.
