Common Room
AI community intelligence that turned into buyer-intelligence, now part of Zoom.
About
Common Room started as an AI platform for community-led growth, pulling signals from GitHub, Discord, Slack, and X into unified person-level profiles so teams could see what was happening across their community in real time. Over time it leaned into go-to-market intelligence: resolving identities across CRM, product, and engagement data and sending RoomieAI agents to help with research, personalization, and prospecting. Customers named publicly include Notion, Atlassian, Anthropic, Autodesk, Okta, and Snowflake.
The Seattle company was founded in 2020 by Linda Lian and raised about $52.9 million from Index Ventures, Madrona, Greylock, and others. On July 2, 2026, Zoom announced it was acquiring Common Room to extend its Zoom Revenue Accelerator platform upstream, pairing Common Room's buyer intelligence with Zoom's conversation data. Terms were not disclosed.
