About

Cascadeur is Nekki's AI-assisted 3D animation app, positioned as an artist-friendly alternative to conventional keyframe tools for games, motion graphics and VFX. Its signature toolset is neural: AutoPosing lets you reposition a few joints while AI completes the rest of the body naturally, AutoPhysics converts keyframe animation into physically accurate motion, and the AI inbetweening system (added in 2025.1) generates full motion cycles between two key poses — extended in 2025.2 with style options for walks, runs, crawls, jumps and combat moves.

The 2025.3 release added Google's Filament PBR renderer as a viewport preview, plus experimental quadruped rigging and a mobile edition. Exports go to FBX, Collada, USD and glTF, with a dedicated Unreal Engine Live Link plugin partly funded by a $50,000 Epic MegaGrant. A free tier exists with limited functionality; full use requires a Pro subscription — professional animators should trial whether the AI toolset fits their rigging pipeline before committing.
