Canary Mail is a privacy-focused email client for Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad, and Android from Cartasec (Singapore). It puts Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, Exchange, and any IMAP account in one unified inbox, with an AI Copilot that drafts replies, summarizes threads, and sorts mail into priority tabs — inbox sorting runs on-device, while drafts and summaries use cloud AI that the vendor says never trains on your mail. Tracker blocking is on by default.
The Pro+ plan adds PGP encryption and SecureSend (expiring self-destructing encrypted messages) plus phishing detection. Pricing: free forever with unlimited accounts on two devices; Growth $36/year; Pro+ $100/year; lifetime licenses at $100 and $300 respectively. No monthly billing.
