Brandpad
Cloud workspace for living digital brand guidelines and asset handover
About
Brandpad is a cloud platform for creating, publishing, and maintaining brand guidelines as living documents instead of static PDFs — the company even ran a tongue-in-cheek 'RIP PDF brand guideline' campaign to make the point. You build guidelines from templates (International, Starter, Burgs, and others), embed logos, colors, typography, imagery, and usage rules, then publish to a shareable open link — or a custom domain with SSL — so clients and partners always see the current version without being invited to another system. Assets can be public, secured, or fully private. It is aimed squarely at designers handing identities to clients: the guideline becomes the single place for specifications and downloadable assets. Independent coverage is thin beyond design press, but the product, templates, and help documentation are live and actively maintained.

Use cases
Works with
Trust score — 7/10
Scored 7/10 (METRICS tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: live product with current templates and active help documentation; covered by design press (Minimalissimo). Strengths: solves the stale-PDF guideline problem well, share-without-invite publishing, custom domains. Docked for: (1) thin independent review coverage — most evidence is the company's own site; (2) niche audience (designers handing off identities), so adoption is modest versus mainstream DAMs. License: commercial, proprietary; paid subscription.
