About

Antigravity (ai.google/antigravity) is Google's agent-first development platform. Launched as an AI-native IDE in November 2025, it became a full platform at Google I/O 2026 (2.0): a desktop app for orchestrating multiple agents in parallel, a CLI that replaces the Gemini CLI, an SDK for custom agents, and Managed Agents in the Gemini API.

Deep integrations with AI Studio, Firebase, and Android. Pricing: generous free tier on Gemini models; Google AI Pro $20/mo; AI Ultra $100/mo with 5x the usage. The pick if you build on Google's stack.

What it can do

  • Multi-agent orchestration
  • Desktop app + CLI + SDK
  • Subagents and scheduled tasks
  • AI Studio / Firebase / Android integration
  • Managed Agents in the Gemini API

Setup

  1. Download the Antigravity desktop app or install the CLI.
  2. Sign in with your Google account.
  3. Orchestrate agents from the app, or use the CLI for terminal workflows.
  4. Upgrade to AI Ultra ($100/mo) for 5x usage if you hit limits.
