About

Adobe Portfolio is a portfolio website builder for creative professionals, launched in 2015 and included at no extra cost with any paid Creative Cloud subscription (the cheapest entry is around $11.99/mo via the Lightroom plan, per independent reviews). If you already pay for Creative Cloud, your cost to launch is effectively zero.

It does one job well: polished portfolio sites without code. You get responsive themes optimized for creative work, up to five portfolio sites, custom domains with HTTPS, and deep Adobe integrations — sync photos from Lightroom, import projects from Behance, publish back to Behance, and use the full Adobe Fonts library. Privacy controls cover site- and page-level visibility including password protection. The boundary is scope: no ecommerce, no blog engine, no email marketing, no complex forms. For showing work and getting hired, that is enough; for anything bigger, look at Squarespace or Framer.

What it can do

  • Up to five portfolio websites included with any paid Creative Cloud plan
  • Responsive themes optimized for photography and design work
  • Lightroom sync, Behance import/export, Adobe Stock and Adobe Fonts integration

  • Site- and page-level privacy controls including password protection
  • Automatic responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile

Setup

  1. Sign in with your paid Creative Cloud account at portfolio.adobe.com.
  2. Pick a responsive theme.
  3. Add projects manually, sync from Lightroom, or import from Behance.
  4. Set visibility (public, private, password-protected) and connect a custom domain.

Trust score — 7/10

/10 trustMetrics-checked

Scored 7/10 (METRICS tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: Adobe's own help docs confirm the five-site limit, theme library, and Behance/Lightroom integrations; independent 2026 reviews confirm the $0-marginal-cost-with-CC pricing. Strengths: the lowest-friction portfolio launch for existing CC subscribers, clean themes, genuinely useful Adobe ecosystem sync. Docked for: (1) portfolio-only scope — no ecommerce, blog, or marketing tools; (2) themes are clean but dated next to Framer or Cargo; (3) no standalone option — you must hold a Creative Cloud subscription. License: proprietary SaaS, closed-source.
